I found the hotel's rooms to be clean and tidy, although a bit outdated and dark due to the location of mirrors, which I thought was not the best idea. The service was excellent with polite, friendly, and efficient staff who even went out of their way to help us in a tricky situation. The location, although in downtown Trondheim, felt a bit sad and lonely, despite having a wonderful setting that made it seem like breakfast was in a garden. The dining experience was wonderful, especially in a beautiful room that felt like being in the glorious twenties. However, the hotel's industrial aspects and being under average were a downside.
